Ironton Auto Body Posts Bonus Money For TQ Midgets In Allentown

Friday Night Triple 20s To Pay $1,000; Saturday Dash $500 To Win

Allentown, PA – TQ Midget competitors will be racing for some extra cash when the 2023 Indoor Auto Racing Series kicks off January 6 and 7 at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA for the 7th running of the Ironton Global Allentown Indoor Races.
Thanks to sponsorship from Ironton Auto Body located in nearby Coplay, PA, the TQ Midget competitors will race for increased winner’s prizes on both Friday and Saturday night.
On Friday night, the TQ Midgets will compete in three A-Qualifier main events, with the top three in each event locking themselves into the Saturday’s main event and the Dash.   The winner of each of these races will now receive $1,000, thanks Ironton Auto Body.
As an added bonus this year, Ironton Auto Body has increased their support of the event to include sponsorship of the all important TQ Midget dash on Saturday.   The newly sponsored Ironton Auto Body Dash, will pit the top nine performers from Friday night in 5 lap race.  On the line will be $500 to the winner and more importantly the pole position in Saturday’s 40 lap A-Main.   The rest of the finishers will line-up in the A-Main in the positions they finish.
In the 2022 running of the event, Billy Pauch Jr., Matt Roselli and Tim Buckwalter scored victories in the Friday night Triple 20s.   Anthony Sesely scored the victory in Saturday night’s Dash.
Ryan Flores is the defending winner of the Allentown Indoor Race, Flores finished second to Pauch on Friday night and sixth place in the Dash, but was able to race to the front in the main event.
Saturday’s events, sponsored by Future Homes, finds all but the top three finishers in Friday’s Qualifiers lining up in heats and consolation races that fill out the starting field for the 40-lap finale.  BELFOR Property Restoration, Ironton Telephone and Internet, Hoosier Tire, VP Racing Fuels, Aqua Duck Water Transport, Mahoning Valley Speedway, Pocono Raceway, E. Schneider & Sons and S&S Raceway are all signed as event/series sponsors for the 2023 season.
Series point fund sponsors include Hoosier, the Official Tire of the TQ Midgets & Champ Karts. Pa.’s Kutztown Action Track USA is the point fund sponsor for the Slingshots.
The Slingshots and Champ Karts will be action in Allentown running two complete shows with feature events both nights.
After Allentown the series then moves to Atlantic City for the 20th year under Len Sammons Productions. The NAPA KNOW HOW weekend will feature a first ever “Double Down” schedule, with two Gambler’s Classic races for the TQ Midgets being held, one on Friday night and another on Saturday night.
The TQ Midgets will be joined by the Dirt 600 Micro Sprints, Slingshots and Champ Karts running a
single feature.
