The stakes just got higher on the Indoor Auto Racing Championship Series Fueled By VP Racing Fuels. If one driver can win all three of the 2016 Saturday night TQ Midget feature events his team will receive a $10,000 bonus thanks to a sponsorship effort announced today with Vahlco Racing Wheels!

Vahlco Racing Wheels, a heavy hitter in the racing wheels market, is posting the $10,000 Perfect Performance Bonus if a driver can sweep the three events in Allentown, Pa.’s PPL Center on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Atlantic City, N.J’s Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, January 30, 2016 and at Trenton, N.J.’s Sun National Bank Center on February 27, 2016.

With over 80 entries expected at each of the events, winning the Valhco Perfect Performance Bonus won’t be easy. Top racers, however, also have a guaranteed point fund to chase along with race earnings.

The 2016 point champion from the three events will again receive $2,000. With money offered to the top five in the points, consistency over every single lap is key. Drivers will earn points for qualifying, heat races and feature events.

In 2015, Erick Rudolph was the Series champion. He was actually tied for most points by Ryan Flores but won the title on a tiebreaker. Andy Jankowiak and Ted Christopher remained in contention until final turn of the last lap of the Gambler’s Classic Indoor finale.

The Indoor Auto Racing Championship Series Fueled By VP Racing Fuels’ first race of the year is the Ironton Telephone Allentown Indoor Races presented by Future Homes set for the PPL Center on Saturday, January 2nd. That race will have added significance in that the race winner will head into the January 30 Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall event as the only driver eligible to win the Vahlco Perfect Performance Bonus.

With 80 competitors vying for only 24 spots in the 40 lap TQ Midget main event sponsored by Ironton Telephone with Avaya, making it to the main event will be an accomplishment. The racers that excel in those qualifying events will be rewarded for their efforts.

Thanks to Bob Hilbert Sportswear the driver that circles the tight 1/10 mile concrete oval the fastest during the afternoon time trial session will receive a $100 cash award. Additionally, the winners of the six TQ Midget heat races will be get some extra cash courtesy of All American Property Maintenance.

When the green flag drops, the powerful open-wheel Three Quarter (TQ) Midgets with drivers from throughout the Northeast and Canada competing will be the headline division. Slingshots, identically built cars that resemble Modified stock cars, will also compete in the one-day event.
