Custom Built Products Sponsors Saturday At Trenton Dirt Indoor Race

Trenton, NJ  –  Custom Built Products of Tullytown, PA, has  signed to become the Saturday Night Presenting Sponsor of the East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals. The two-day event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Febrary 24-25, 2023 inside the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ. Custom Built Products principal Allen Payne founded the metal fabrication company in 1980 under the premise of providing the finest in quality metal fabrication to a customer base ranging from the smallest business to Fortune 500 companies.

The East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals is returning after a two year hiatus. The two year gap has not diminished the dramatic running of the 2020 race when Jon Keller left fans speechless and wanting more. The southern New Jersey native ran through the “alphabet soup” of preliminary races, advancing from the E-Main to the A-Main to win with an exciting last lap pass.

The 2017 inaugural East Coast Dirt Nationals was won by 600cc Micro Sprint driver Whitey Kidd, II. Erick Rudolph drove Tommy Fraschetta’s car to a win in the second running in December of 2018.   The event wasn’t held in 2021 or 2022 due to covid gathering limits.

Friday night will feature heat races and A-Main Qualifiers for all entries, with passing points earned for each race and position gained. By the luck of a blind draw, the field will be split into 10 heat races. Those who start in the back will benefit by points given for each car passed. On Saturday night, the top performers from Friday will be locked into the A-Main with the remaining competitors slotted into mains E through B with a chance to advance and lock themselves into the main event.

Entry forms and rules information for interested competitors are now available online at www.indoorautoracing.com.   A maximum of 100 competitors will be accepted for the event. The host hotel for the East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals is the Hampton Inn in Bordentown, NJ.  A limited amount of rooms held at a special discount are currently available.

After the on-track actitivies end each night in Trenton, the nearby Chickie’s & Pete’s in Bordentown, N.J. will be offering an extended “Happy Hour” to all those wearing pit area wrist bands until they close at 2 am. The Sports Bar is located within a mile of the event host hotel, the Hampton Inn.

The signing of  Custom Built Products  as  the Saturday night Presenting Sponsor of the East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals accents the value of the event’s value.

Event sponsorship ranging from title sponsor to “Dirt” sponsors are available and being actively sought to help support the event.  Interested parties should contact Danny Sammons at 609-888-3618 or via e-mail at danny@aarn.com.

The Indoor Auto Racing “concrete” series will kick off its 2023 campaign in Allentown, PA at the PPL Center on January 6 and 7 with the 7th running of the Ironton Global sponsored events.  Before heading to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall for the 20th running of the NAPA KNOW HOW Indoor Race Weekend.

The TQ Midgets will headline both programs and compete in double Gambler’s Classics in Atlantic City.  The Slingshots and Champ Karts will join them at both events, with the “Dirt” 600 Micro Sprints making up a four division program in Atlantic City.

Tickets for the event, which will feature Wingless 600 Micro Sprints are now on sale at the Cure Insurance Arena Box office, online at www.indoorautoracing.com and through Ticketmaster. Visit the series website for more information including entry forms, rules, host hotels and ticket information for all events.
