Dylan Hoch Seeks Three-Peat in Atlantic City; Slingshot Winner to Receive $2,000
Allentown, PA — Dylan Hoch will be seeking a third straight Indoor Auto Racing Series Slingshot victory when he returns to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall for the 24th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Indoor Auto Racing Weekend on Friday and Saturday, January 23–24.
Thanks to Slingshot parts supplier GMC Speed Supplies of Spring Brook, PA, that victory will now be worth an additional $500, making the Atlantic City Slingshot win a $2,000 payday, courtesy of Alan Chillott of GMC.
The 26-year-old driver from Mertztown, PA dominated the first two rounds of the series, winning both nights of the recent Ironton Global Indoor Event in Allentown, PA. Those victories marked Hoch’s third consecutive Slingshot win at Allentown and propelled him into the championship points lead.
Hoch now heads to the New Jersey shore looking for redemption after a disappointing 10th-place finish in Atlantic City last year. After starting at the rear of the field, Hoch charged into contention for the win before being involved in an incident that sent him back to the tail.
Currently second in points is Tyler Ulsh, a 20-year-old from Schuylkill Haven, PA, who will be seeking his first Indoor Series victory after finishing runner-up in both Allentown races. Ulsh also finished second in last year’s Atlantic City event, which was won by 2025 series champion Paulie Hartwig III.
Hartwig, a hometown favorite from Galloway, N.J., will be pulling double duty this year in Atlantic City. The 15-year-old will also compete in a TQ Midget, following a successful series debut in Allentown.
Round four of the Kutztown Action Track–sponsored Slingshot Series will take place inside CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, N.J., on Thursday, February 19, as part of a double-header with the Junior Sprints. The Dirt Indoor Nationals continue with two days of action on Friday and Saturday, February 20–21, featuring the 600 Wingless Sprints.
Interest in the Atlantic City Indoor Race Weekend has been strong, with more than 50 TQ Midget competitors from across the country pre-entered. That will include defending Gambler’s Classic winner Ryan Flores, a former New Jersey native, now living in Huntersville, N.C.
The TQ Midgets will contest complete shows both nights, while 50 plus Slingshots, Champ Karts, and 600 Micro Sprints will run qualifying races on Friday and feature events on Saturday. Drivers from 13 states and two Canadian provinces are expected.
On Friday, grandstands open at 6:00 PM, with racing at 7:00 PM, along with a pre-race Fan Zone autograph session. On Saturday, grandstands open at 5:00 PM, with reserved-seat fans gaining access to the on-track Fan Fest from 5:00–6:15 PM, followed by racing at 7:00 PM.
Special autograph guests include NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Funny Car star Ron Capps, Top Fuel standout Maddi Gordon, and the newly crowned Ms. Motorsports 2026, along with every driver entered in competition.
Tickets start at $20 for adults, with children’s tickets just $5 on race day. Premium and reserved seating options are available. Tickets may be purchased via Ticketmaster or avoid ticket fees and purchase them at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office.
